As a research team, we aim to focus our short and long-term goals on designing health promotion initiatives using a social determinants of health lens, addressing health inequities in the South Asian diaspora, conducting action-based research, and creating safe and inclusive research settings.

    To address health inequities in the South Asian diaspora using an equity-focused, anti-oppressive and intersectional lens.

    To conduct action-based research with the South Asian community on health disparities and recommend collaborative solutions.

    To design health promotion initiatives using a social determinants of health lens that considers systemic factors influencing health outcomes.
